About me

About me

After graduating from Michigan State University, I attended the University of Michigan Law School.  During law school, I commuted from Ann Arbor to Detroit to intern at the Federal Defender Office.  Immediately after law school, that office hired me as an attorney.  Beginning my career in federal court allowed me to start my practice with the most complex cases in front of the most demanding judges.  It has given me unmatched experience in complex criminal litigation.

With 25 years of experience, I have handled every type of case that comes through criminal court, from multi-million dollar fraud cases to drug conspiracies, from international terrorism to sex offenses.  I have handled appeals and post-conviction motions, negotiated pleas, and, most importantly, gone to trial against the United States Department of Justice.  Rest assured, whatever your case involves, I am more than capable of handling it.

Not only was I chosen to litigate the most complex cases while at the public defender, but I was also entrusted with the role of the office’s first training director.  In that capacity, I successfully trained 17 attorneys at the Federal Defender Office and over 120 on the federal Criminal Justice Act panel.

I am Of Counsel at Mogill and Lemanski P.L.L.C., which allows me to handle criminal and professional licensing matters.
